Today I get some ecu from Volvo V70 2012-2013 2,4D to test on.
This ecu has a Tricore TC-1797

Bosch 0281018414
Volvo number: 31336983

Do someone know how to clone this ecu?
Is tricore TC-1797 using OTP area?

Have not found a tool yet that can crack the 10 digitcode from Volvo yet.
I even sended 2 of those to fgtech, they cannot get arround the code yet.
Still have one lying arround here until somebody finds the way to read it.
So if any info for this ecu is out there.........

Do any program have options to write the pincode when you read?

If you scan canbus when you do software update you get code for flash
BUT if code is in Virtuel Eeprom you mayby must do a reload for ECM.

And IS code based on VIN?

FGtech has it on the pdf (see pictures) i sended 2 of those edc17cp48's to them.
When i saw at the update the ecu was on the pdf, I bought another ecu on ebay, but connected, not working
when somebody knows how to: $$$,00 :-)

They do not need code or has access to all code ? You can do it yourself by OBD. What is inside "iSoftloader"? Anyone have and open it?

They probebly have org. full Vida subscription, and reload the ecu by Vida, and then they sniff the 10 digitcode.....
Then life is easy.
To bad licese for full vida costs about 350,- (euro) a month.....

NO it cannot
I sended 2 edc17cp48 ecu's to them, they added them on the tricore pdf, but as i tested and gave back errorlog file, they said: not possible yet

To make reload you need car. They must do it other way.Are you sure code is needed?

Same problem...not go in bootmode (no identification) from Front bootpin (haven't try little bootpin near TC1797)

But I dont think they share info how to do it....

I think this tool wil have the same problem as Original FGtech,
Ori fgtech has this edc17cp48 in the documentation, it says how to read and write it, you just need the xx digit password.

I sended a edc17cp48 to them, they added it in the documentation, then i tried it on a ecu, it did not work, I wrote to support, the came up with you need the specific pin for it....

When this tool described above would work I buy immidiatly :-) !!

yes than there will be soon available by mms.

I use magicmotorsport X17 tool to this ecu and it work perfect.
And realy good suport if you need help.

At the moment i have only a Byteshooter, can i do this ecu with Byteshooter ?
