hi everybody im new to this site. i was given an arnet a700c which needs updating but dont how to do this can anyone help? i dont have a pc but a laptop.

you'll need to use a rs232 9 pin female to 9pin female null cable and a usb to 9 pin male serial cable. also need the firmware

my laptop only has usb connections cant see any 9 pin connections. so what cable would i need?

as said above a usb to 9pin male serial cable like this

i dont mean you to buy them particular 1s they just for show but you will join them 2gether to make the cable to flash with the usb to lapyop 9pin female to box

its a piece of cake mate once you have the cables
