ok im so up the creek n no paddles
using skybox f5..
bought motorised dish 90cm with technomate motor
(told the missus she wud be amazed)
removed saucer sized dish from wall put up big futher mucker
only to find i cant allign the beast (the wife not pleased... no corry in either english nor german)
pleeeeeese any idea ?????? every thing works.... motor....reciever.....sat list.... no signal n no instructions on
motor or dish !!!!! i have till 6.30 tue 5/11/13 to sort it (hollyjokes) or im without extras ....yes them extras
n i cant loose them so saucer will be back up n eeeebay for mi motor,
i will be sat up all nite n **** the neighbours i will be moving the dish at wot eva time the instructions come in
i await ur every bit of info...............

Have you tried researching how to install a motorised dish? It is very very hard for a first timer!
There are guides on this forum, however If im honest i really cant be bothered finding them right now to post a link but look in the general satellite section

yes ive spent last 3 hours searching for a good guide.... n a noob???? no im ex sky (lol) but sky dont install motorised n i dont have the 400 quid horizon meter i used to av!!!! cheers any way

the sat finder on android is about as much use as sky!!!!! n no meter YET!

ok read it (again) still nowt (i think my dish mite be broke) lol (microwave reflective paint)
i got mi long n lat set me thinks 53.5 n 1.3 w as close as set mi box to usals wi 1 l
set it t thor 0.7 dish as straight as a non poofty no chanels wi 1 n
its the true south mi thinks iz mi problem !!!!!

im usin satellite director n im at 53.518458.....-1.332323 at an altitude of 76.4 meters (if that elps)

If you give me a few minutes I will upload you a channel list for 1 west so at least when you get close when moving the dish you wil get a picture on your tv

Ok here's your list, it works as I only tested it a couple of hours ago.
You will need to add back your motorised settings after updating the list.

do this, get a channel list on your box,put it on channel 4 (strongest tp i think), send your dish to 28.2e, and move the whole motor and dish manually with your hand you may get a picture... this give you a very good idea that your close by...
