Fiat Bosch 2250 MP3 Code error

Hi, I have a radio on the bench that is displaying 'code error'. I have the security code for the unit but I haven't got the facility to time out the unit as it requires a CAN signal from the car so can anyone help to clear the code error? It isn't a typical Fiat Blaupunkt unit where the canbus can be disabled as it's the newer Bosch type with a NEC 70F3351GC9(A) micro processor and the normal 95640 eprom. Details are below,
