Youll need to do the EWS and LKM on this car too.

No. The LKM/LSM and cluster back each other up. From memory I think around every 100k the backup to LSM takes place but EWS also counts pulse per mile at 39000. If you do dash and EWS I think the LSM/LKM will backup when it turns another 100k. I think perhaps mileage may be on the key too, perhaps another can confirm as its been a few years since I saw one of these.

Its basically BMW system. Cokolo is correct but the original miles will jump on backup. To test reprog your dash with 199995kms and take it for a good run.

Funnily enough it was Rovers technical dept when they turned up at the request of the rozzers to give evidence me and a few others. Maybe if you know better you could help me lodge an appeal. Im sure the courts would appreciate your qualifications and ownership of chinky kit to be able to prove otherwise.

Just found a little light reading for ya Dave.
When I get back to the UK Ill be happy to photocopy Rovers statements submitted to Stafford Crown Court also where they declare that the mileages will update one another.

Like most pro equipment manufacturers also thought about it, have a look at this grab:

Think someone may have gotten shoddy and left a few screwed dashes around.
