dongle and dcc vu+ solo

can any tell me i have just installed a wireless dongle to my solo using vix 3.0 and wanted to know how i can use dcc as now the cable is not attached to my router when i go to it on the pc it says not connected can i use the ftp through wireless dongle to ftp info to the box like before when it was attached to the router trough cable.

If you now have it setup via W-Fi then everything can be done as though it was hard wired
