06-07 Ford Explorer LT with Pats

Does anyone know if the PATS (immo) runs through the VIN stored in the 93C86? I unfortunately received a messed up cluster to repair and apparently the chip wasn't on securely and fell off which tells me why the cluster had messed up gauges in the first place. Now customer says it did work before. You know how that goes. I have no chip and a replacement cluster to program.

Do you need a data set file.

one way or other you will need to code a transponder or the key to run the vehicle.

vehicle does not run without cluster. Someone had been playing with chip and didn't solder it back on board correctly. I can see vin in a replacement dump file. I was wondering if perhaps just setting the original vin in the replacement dump can get vehicle to start.

solder the chip back to the board, find the groud on leg 5 make sure you solder it in the correct way.
