Discovery 2 , Is there any quick way to read BCU so I can set the replacement cluster to exact same so id doesn't flash or do I have to remove and open BCU

Has to be removed .. and the exact km's (not miles) shown in the dash display entered .. or it will flash. but I am confident that if I'm wrong then someone will post to that effect lol

well if it was just a replacement cluster and the original was still displaying miles, it would be worth a try to note down the kms showing on the original cluster then programme that amount to the replacement.

BUT, if the old cluster is dead, you could just swap the eeprom.

BUT, if the guy has not got the original cluster, he maybe telling porkies and had someone try to change the miles in the cluster only!

BUT, if you quoted him enough ?????? then just take out the box and do it.

BUT....BUT.....BUT.........

Or get it programmed with T4 testbook and it should transfer miles across to clocks.
