AUDI A5 - 2007 / SAFE in LCD

Audi A5 [8T] model 2007.

Customer want to have a second dash what works in the car (original dash works 100%)

Second-hand-dash (8T0920931B) gives "SAFE" in LCD.

How to reprogram/adapt ?

copy-paste the eeproms is not working because ori-dash has monochrome LCD and second-hand-dash has a colour-LCD.

yeah seems a bit overkill just to do this
dont get me wrong avdi kicks ass
but they should look at their licencing a bit closer
id love to buy more but they are just too bundled up now
