Been playing about with the firmware and channel list on my box this afternoon. Everything seems ok and seems to be working but every say 20 mins the box resets itself.
And does the loading count up again. When it comes back on, it's on the same channel as when it went off.
Any ideas please ??

No, not really. Just realised I hadn't done anything since I got the box. And thought I'd just try the newer one.
Beginning to wish I'd stuck to the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

The last part my thoughts as well.......
plz tell me you made a backup of the box to usb before messing with it.......
if not you have learnt a lesson.....as you say....."if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
you need to restore the box with another firmware.......& hope it's not a clone....
i have always have this firmware installed on my old F3 box.......SkyBox | SkyBox (http://www.skybox.cc/downinfo.asp?id=89) if you get file mismatch when trying to load it you have a clone.
then you will need this firmware....http://www.yojiatech.com/a/Support/Download/Skybox_F3/ (http://www.yojiatech.com/a/Support/Download/Skybox_F3/)

The firmware that was on the box was older than the one you linked to. And the linked one is the one that I'm now using.
I'm putting it down to overheating at the mo, as I'd been messing with it for a few hours.
I'm gonna leave it off till tomorrow morn, and give it a go then. And see what happens !!

I would guess it will still be the same tomoz
SkyBox | SkyBox (http://www.skybox.cc/down.asp?id=9) try one of the earlier firmwares to see if the rebooting stops

I've put the firmware (the box came with) back on. And fingers crossed at the mo it seems to be back to normal.
I have now learnt not to mess with the firmware, just change the channel lists when needed.
Thanks for the advice P&D.
