really basic F5 question...

Sorry for this , but have searched and could not find answer!

if i currently have a normal sly+ setup, with 2 cables coming into house and plugged into box for dual tuners...

With an additional F5 box - i would need to use one of those cables for running the F5 box wouldnt i?

thus removing my current boxes ability to either record 2 programmes at once, or record one and watch another.

is there any way around this? to keep full original functionality and add the F5 as well?

Yes install another cable from the Quad LNB to your Skybox F5, But please do a little search around the openbox/skybox section about members having problems running an F3/5 receiver on the same quad LNB as an official receiver it may change your mind
