Im sure I have read on here somewhere that it is possible to remove the DPF routines from this ecu using DAS developer mode. I have searched and searched and cannot find the instructions on here anywhere. Can someone please teach me the correct procedure to do this if it is possible.

Here is the control unit data.

I tried this today. Only had to disable the top option in the picture I posted. All the actual values (live data) to do with the DPF disappeared. Faultcodes for the missing EGT sensors also cleared. Will update soon after it's been tested.

Holy revival,

I was just wondering if you ever had any problems removing the DPF and disabling this code?

Update:

Seems to have worked perfectly.

I know this is an old tread, however hopefully someone can confirm. Does Star in developer mode remove DPF, and also, what hardware mod is required other than removing/opening up the DPF?
By hardwaremod I mean disconnecting sensors and so on.
Other thing, in developer mode I have seen possibility to remove/disabling the EGR valve. Also, will this require disconnecting of the related components?
