Hi all.

Not been around for a long time as I've been busy with many other more important issues.
(And running errands for the wife !!!)

As a consequence I'm a little ring rusty / behind the times with regards to the current crop of set top boxes and what can be acheived with them.

By means of a casual conversation last week I was alerted to the Skybox which re-ignited my previous interest in such thinks, hence I have subsequently found my way back to DK to do a bit of swotting up.

After a minimal amount of the aforementioned swotting up I have a couple of questions.

1. I have an old Openmedia dual satellite / cable box and also an old Itgate 220 satellite box, (Remember them ?) will I be able to load the same software that is loaded onto the current SKYBOX onto either of these boxes and acheive the same results / viewing capacity.
(I have a 1 metre motorised dish set up)

2. If not, where is the best place to purchase one of the Skyboxes which would be a reliable source and thus make sure that I would receive a genuine Skybox and not a clone.

Thank you in advance, Soulmandave.

your only problem with the skybox is the memory can only hold 2000 channels
