I have xprog my upa is down, is there a solution for xprog?

Use xprog, unsolder MCU, put on adapter and get your dump

I don't know your unit but thought it's QFP64? coz if PLCC52 the adapter never work!, always
Two things to check when stop at bypassing, promptly check for voltage when just hit read at...
1. MCU pin Vpp1 must be 0v
2. Vpp (at Xprog) must not excess 8.5v (critical!)

Check your adapter pins contact with the mcu. Supply programmer with 15v and check for xprog update
