Fg tech v53 problem

Hi I just got my V53 to replace my v51
I used a clean install of XP sp3 ie 7
Followed the video

Key installed ok
When I start eobd.exe I get error
Make_renewal with fgtech_download_update to re establish tool

The date is set 1-1-2013

I've tried usb fix it didn't work

you can use via winxp sp3

Have u installed the far east & Thai language packs ? ?

No I haven't I will try that now

my procedure tested on many pcs
date 1/1/2013
install language asiatic not single language ( see attachment )
make sure that the file exists in the folder eobd2.cfg
rewrite fg fix
and open EOBD2.exe

xp lite or xp service pack 3, best to use this on
win 7 etc, wasting your time,,,

any one confirm screen shot of v53 (China) sourced,
i got one running but looks like old or fake V53, says 0084-****

you must have xp sp3 china , its the best for this softwere, its was on this forum

Thanks for all your help I dug out my dell D430 restored the ghost and all is working

I'm still going to sort out getting it to work on my acer laptop also

Now your dell is full of viruses. Ghost image from china is plagued.

Oh best I copy my eobd.cfg etc over and make this work on my normal machine
