My wife recently purchased the f5s slybox. Whilst I am very pleased with the reception and the fact that it unscrambles those pesky s*y programmes I am not very fond of the fact that I can only record the one channel. Now I profess to being a technical ignoramus and am looking for a box that records more than one programme at a time and also a box that does not need an upgrade every five minutes or so. If anyone with more knowledge about this type of equipment can be of help it would be most appreciated. Thanks

I agree, the giga quad is nice and very smooth in operation and yours for around ?220 from Germany.

Do be prepared for some sleepless nights, a mountain of confusion, stroppy forum members (another forum) headaches and lots of coffee and swearing and at the least a vertical learning curve.. I've been reading so much of late I get to a point where all I see is bla bla bla bla FTP bla bla bla XML FILE bla bla bla.. That said I will persevere :joyous:
