this is a 4kb file from an Alfa 159 just for comparing - it's obvious you're missing all info from 800 onward , that includes the Proxy configuration file.....

this is your file modified ok up to A12 (marked by AA which should be the first byte to modify up to FFF) - you can go on from there .... you might try to modify the Alfa 159 data to match the data on your BC stickers but it won't be easy....

ok thanks that would be the recommendation to write xprog m or UPA?

i prefer UPA, very reliable and more user-friendly....

this is a Alfa147 BC file for comparison, you might use the part from A12 up to FFF as a base to restore your file.....

updated content looks like you think it will work? going to test tomorrow

well, it would surprise me if it works because probably a lot of data bytes from A12 onward will be incorrect or in the wrong position but if you dare to try it ..... see what happens ! I still think the best option would be copying the last part from another Alfa GT dump if you can find one and hope for the best - i know FES/MES can adapt the proxy file of the BC automatically depending on the can nodes which are active in your car during the procedure. Good luck!

Hello rdu04, copy all data from A12 till the end of this GT file from Manmart into my partially repaired file - then compare the ASCII code strings with the numbers on your body computer and make nessesary corrections. In the GT file from Manmart you will see the programming date (2008 06 19) - the five bytes before the date are the iso code ( 40 83 8A 80 A2). the five bytes before the iso code are the Omologation number ( 000047) - then one separator byte (.) , then before the seperator 11 bytes HW nr. ( 01890110001), then 11 bytes Alfa drawing nr. ( 50506305 + 3 filler bytes h20) . The proxy file (configuration file) is the most difficult part - first try if the file works with the above changes - if not please post your latest file and i will try to help you further.....

your last file seems almost ok, just change the homologation nr from 000047 to 000048 (hex byte 37 to 38) - then test in your car and check if all functions work ok. When your mileage is blinking then do a Proxy Alignment procedure with FES/MES (not with other tools !) - FES/MES actually can change the configuration file in your bodycomputer according to the nodes it sees on the CAN network. Good luck !
