Hi guys,

I have a garage who washed the engine of a 2003 Citroen and then the car failed to start (cranked but no start).
They used a scan tool to diagnose the car and found many fault codes with the ECU.
They then opened the ECU and damaged bits of it in the process.
When it was put back in the car, no comms with ECU anymore (car cranks but no start).
ECU is Magnetti Marelli IAW 4MP2.04.

They got in a second hand ECU from a wreckers and I swapped the 29F200BB from the damaged ECU to the new one.
Got comms with ECU but many fault codes which could not be deleted.
I changed the 8 pin eeprom marked 662AB but nothing changed.

I then Virginised the 29F200BB in the ECU (using IUD 3.2) and reinstalled it back into the car.
No fault codes and ECU gets identified correctly.
No Fault codes in engine ECU or IMMO, car cranks but still does not start.

I had a play with Lexia but could not see how to marry the ECU and BSI.
I did notice under engine immobiliser it has "Engine ECU Locked - YES".
I tried auto adaptation but got error "Initialisation of auto-adaptation faulty"
Control unit condition also notes ECU LOCKED.

I'm not sure if I virginised the ECU correctly, can somebody please check my dumps to see if it correct.

Thanks guys

Content looks good.
The engine light is lit when you turn ignition?
If not, check the wiring harness for engine control - BSM.
Dubbed the motor controller and if you do not let it be too BSI problem.
