sky f3 box problem

hi all new to this
1 have a f3 box got fta channels but getting no signal on sports etc , i dont subscribe to a server yet as i had had it not long , do i need to !!
2 i have another f3 memo box that was working fine till yesterday when i now reboots all the time , belive to be a software issue got a rs232 cable but no where on my pc to plug it in !! confused now
is they anywhere i can take to near wakefield leeds area
