Hello,

I have here a audi A4 2.0 CR EDC17, that is to override fap, however eliminated by Switch (file below) but still with 2 errors related.
Can anyone help me delete these DTCs?
The errors are:

P0544 00 [040] - Circuit Malfunction
Intermittent - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
Freeze Frame:

Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 63
Mileage: 198126 km
Date: 2013.11.29
Time: 14:42:24

5260 - Sensor 1 for Exhaust Temp Bank 1 (G235)
P0544 00 [040] - Circuit Malfunction
Intermittent - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
Freeze Frame:

Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 179

I leave here the original and fap off by switch :)

I appreciate your help

Switch method requires all sensors conected and working, any fault you got will still appear. so now you need to dlete DTCs or replace snesors

Yes, I know to switch all sensors should be ok, but in this case it is to eliminate sensors. (dts)

thanks mate

maybe this can help. (addresses do not match your specific file but should be close. with a bit of common sense you can sort for yourself).

deleting individual dtc codes from edc17 (cp14 was the flavor i was working with)

example:

009298 - Diesel Particle Filter; Differential Pressure Sensor
P2452 - 000 - Elect. Malfunction - MIL ON

find the p code in the p code look up table. 16bit, hex.

location: 190a7a
p code table start: 190654

get your hex calculator!

190a7a - 190654: 426. divide by 2, 213.

find your vag specific dtc look up table. 8 bit.

example:

table start location: 18569e
18569e + 213: 1858b1. this is the location of the p2452 dtc. 00 this byte.
no more dtc light.
same process as me7 except /2 instead of /8.

yes? those are my instructions. sorted that formula for myself one day after needing to delete a few dtc's from a customer cp14 ecu.
having the corresponding ori file takes a bit of the fun out of the search and guessing to learn dont you think? ;)
the edc17 (and med17) tables arent much different than me7. find one and you found them all.
anyways, ori file attached. merry christmas. :positive:

what did you mean write "table start location" ? Start table of switch ?

1. column adress from error code (e.g P0401)
2. start adress from errors
3. start adress from switches
