I have been offered to the chance to purchase the Dreambox 500 or the Starview 4 ..


Could any give their choice of which one to purchase.. i currently own Starview 1.

Dreambox 500 if ya can m8........ coz its a linux box its meant 2 be good for firmware..... its only what i have heard but some1 with a dreambox will be on ere soon who will help you further.

Hi hughkay,

the DB is certainly more versatile.

However the USB slot makes the Starview VERY user friendly.

I guess it depends how much playing around you want or have to do.

And how much you want to keep the Missus happy!

I wished i had kept myself happy i have lost some channels on the DB & the seller wishes to charge me ?20 to update.. i should have got the starview 4..
