please show a bigger picture.
also a few people have said he same issue as me, it is in the correct position - if you rotate the other way it would cut the other side too much also.
The only difference could be the cutter - I do not see anywhere where you sell the cutter made for the condor - please post a decent picture of the cutter and where to buy the same cutter as you
Do you mean the proper 1.5mm & 2.5 mm cutters?

Do you mean the proper 1.5mm & 2.5 mm cutters?
you can not use 1.5mm as they haven't programmed it to do 2 passes to cut the correct 2.2mm width.
2.5 is just too big even if it works I dont want some ugly key.
I think they said it works ok with 2mm but I want a picture of the key cut with the condor and details of the cutter that cut it so I can test it.

2.0-2.5mm cutter is ok of this key,1.5mm connot for this key
the 2.1mm cutter is best ,but we always use the 2.0mm cutter.

Can someone please upload the update tool and drivers I have downloaded the updated tool in post 53 when I open it it say this application has failed to start because FTD2XX.dll was not found reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Also when I connect to the computer it wants drivers for the key machine.
Thanks

Im not trying to be smart, but do you realize the Condor doesnt decode the Tibbe keys? you just enter the bittings and it cuts it?

this is the condor XC-007 cutting key
exactly its cuts too deep. it should not be cutting into the part I've highlighted
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=311482&stc=1
if you set the cut height 0.05mm higher it will probably not cut into it
whether you can cut all cuts 0.05mm higher
or just number 4 cuts 0.05mm higher
or just cuts on the right hand side as the cuts on the right side cut slightly deeper due to the way the machine moves (putting pressure very slightly rotating the key into the cut as it moves whereas the left sides direction of cut rotates the key so it cuts less) if that makes sense.
probably the most simple and effective solution would be to enable the height adjustment setting (which is ignored for x3 clamp) or better still have 2 height adjustments for left cuts and right cuts, allowing the user to tweak the settings to best suite them.

Ok.
It's important type of key to add, because new Kia Venga have this type of key profile.
Latest kia and Hyundai have a high degree of failure of remotes (broken key case) so Kiah Hyundai replace them under warranty
but the key blade need to cut because arrive to dealer uncutted.
In february i have contacted the Condor support about this key and the guy told me to wait some weeks.
Thank you

I think what paul_12345 is trying to say is that the current update program works in a very failure prone way.
Most other device updaters work like this :
Run update app - check server for update - download 100% of firmware update file - send 100% of firmware update to device - update DONE.
The way your current update works is this ...
Run update app - check server for update - download 10% of update file - send 10% of update to device - download NEXT 10% of update file - send NEXT 10% of update to device - .. ETC, ETC, .... .. .
You can see that at any point, if the connection to the server fails, the update fails. Why not change the updater app to download the ENTIRE firmware update first ?

if you had read the thread you would know about this - Although I dont know why Conder do not put checks in place to detect if the probe or cutter will hit the clamp at all... Not hard to do at all!!!
I did read it mate, but I though the update was supposed to fix it.

finally update done... seems the update program needs a very very stable internet connection then it should update within a couple of attempts (although the server is painfully slow)
tried the X3 clamp and its much better, now without any height adjustment it cuts number 4 near perfect.
So now if condor can implement a 2 pass cut on the tibbe like the Miracle A9 does (so it cuts 2.2mm like the spec says using a 1.5mm cutter to save changing cutters) then this would be a viable option to cut tibbe keys.

about the update problem such as:
your current version is 2.3.0,you wanna update to2.3.1
1.update fail, but your machine screen display the version 2.3.1【means only programmer update ok,but lost some data/picture】→
need to"Fix data error(picture lost, etc)",if fix ok means update ok.
2.update fail and the machine screen display still 2.3.0,→need to update again.
if update fail, user can send me the update log.
i will feedback this good idea【1.5mm cutter working twice for X3】 to our software engineer again,if ok i will post here.

You need a good network connection to succeed. If your update fails it helps to try again at different times of the day.

If this machine ever updates, it might be worth reading the chip(s) and posting the files here.
I've checked several users about update problem via "teamview"this few days, often the network can work mostly website well, but not the server.
the ping of connect the server more than 250ms,sometimes request time out.→【need to change a good network, usually can update success】
if many users update online at the same time maybe fail→【because of the server resource caused, user can change a time to update】

I was using wifi but quite far away and whilst it works for http etc it failed badly on updating, after getting closer to the router it failed once at around 60% and then updated the next try and took a good 40-50 minutes.
I would try a different internet source - different network adaptor/computer.

You checked mine.
I was sat in the university reception "borrowing" their internet. It is a direct connection to the national high speed network, gigabit speeds and I was hard wired in.
There is no better internet available anywhere in the UK and it still didn't work, the server is definitely the issue.
Mid there any way to release the update file?
I've checked your log file & our admin system, your machine is"Genius LiShi English"version, but we only upload the "Normal English"to the server before.
if users machine is not normal english, cannot update success.【the other version upload to server OK now】
if user still cannot update, try again.if still fail let me know.

if you have wifi in the house you can connect to that from your van provided you have a good signal, also you can not trust the internet status for signal quality as it will not detect if its losing the odd packet of data once in a while which is why the update is crashing as it would seem theres no error correction etc.

friend, about the leaves a little bit problem maybe the unproper cutter caused, usually 1.5mm cutter for X1 clamp,2.5mm cutter for X2 clamp
if you choose the 1.5mm cutter for HU66,you can the leave bit show in the cutting image on your machine.

your machine is not right! I hardly ever calibrate mine, I don't even calibrate when I change the clamps most of the time - The machine must semi-calibrate every cut as it touches the notch in the clamp.
I've just tried a HU66 with 1.5mm cutter and it does leave a line all the down the cut (around 0.08mm thickness) this breaks off very easy but should not happen! Looks like condor do not test different sized cutters which is pretty poor like their X3 clamp attitude of use a 2mm cutter when really not that hard to do 2 passes using a 1.5mm cutter like Miracle does.
Having said that the key cut well and is as smooth as the original.

not good investment

condor is a good budget machine , more suited to the workshop than mobile due to size and weight , it has some bugs , some issues and some gaps , but i expect this for what it costs , on the whole a decent machine for the money.
miracle A6 is a reliable machine , has a few bugs but reliable as a light use machine , ideal mobile on a van and space saving .
Viper is a heavy machine and can play up in cold , but is a great heavy duty machine that will give a lifetime of reliable use and recieves lifetime updates and as silca is normally up to date.
Ninja laser - excellent machine , nothing better for me on sx9 keys , laguna 3 , megane 3 , new clio cards using 1234Q5678H series and decoding and cutting clio 3 keys , fast reliable cutting that allows you to pick various styles of cut as well as adjust to half cuts etc , the software can take getting used to due to the functions available on it , adds cylinder keys to your services too , its a well built machine that is like silca updated for life free.
most will cut a tibbe key on a clamp , but none will in my view cut a perfect tibbe key , a stand alone option will always cut a better key and far quicker too .
I have all of the above machines , so have hands on and regular experience with each machine and use them all , i like them all over the next for certain functions and all do different jobs for me , viper will always be my baby as it was my first , but ninja laser is catching it up fast my only gripe is viper is 30 second boot time , ninja laser is 4 minutes to boot up , but these 2 are in a league of their own
condor is a far superior machine to the x6 , the x6 is a starter machine for very light use and build quality is poor in comparison , i had an x6 to play with for a few months , i wouldnt buy one having gone hands on with it , condor will last longer and be more reliable of the 2 , its at least being supported and updated which is a big plus and is a far superior build quality to the x6 which at best is a hobby or starter machine .
it isnt always 100% accurate , but the find biting function on condor is useful if you dont have instacode to hand , and is a useful addition that makes the condor more useful .

I think we all know that the x6 is a cheapy, and mine was ?300 with a dodgy sensor..... But I started this thread how long ago?!?! And only now are some of the issues being sorted. Hopefully it will continue as I will be looking at one ( possibly mini ) very soon, thanks to the keys my x6 has cut..... Then once this Condor earns it's crust I'll go straight for a Ninja I think. Like it has been said no machine is perfect. I gambled some pocket change on an x6 and it worked out so far, it's not without faults, but I guarantee there are more people using an x6 than will admit as a cheap almost throw away machine. The Condor looks and feels like Rolls Royce in comparison and with Samic's help hopefully it will continue to develop.

About the this renault key is"VA2EH2",right? Usually the standard thickness is 3mm.if not【maybe will cutting the clamp】,
Remember to use "a shim plate"add the key thickness 3mm【nearly 3mm,no less than 3mm】,then cutting key.
There is one type of the Toyota smart key TOY48 as the same, need to add the thickness to 3mm.

yes, but it can't do anything about the physical problem - which is it cuts the key at the required depth measured from the key the thinner blade means it cuts lower down - and at that depth the cutter is lower then the clamp at the side of the key; which does not matter for the cutter, but seeing how the tracer is at the same level as the cutter means it will hit the clamp.
However it should really check for this and warn you of it - This still can't solve the problem, you only need to place a shim down before the key will take 1 second - The only problem I have with this is that it doesn't warn you of this.

most machines that cut these use a shim or an adaptor for them , its a cross we must bear . if its the difference between cutting the key and getting paid or walking away unpaid , then a few seconds to insert a shim is no chore at all .
as with many keys , a shim or a well placed piece of piano wire can be a godsend especially on older manual machines , ive yet to meet the machine that can do all without the use of alternate clamps and adaptors .
it would be a fantastic machine that did all keys in just 1 clamp and with no need of any adaptors , shims or alternate add ons , i suspect if such a machine appears on market it wont be at the price of a condor which is excellent value for money even if one does have to put oneself out for a few seconds to a minute to add a shim or a clamp.

Thats good, I would give a review but your server is sh*t and I can not update again.
If you select enter bios should this go into the bios every time you press it - or is it buggy and only enter after a few attempts??? as I am wondering if the usb socket on mine is not 100% or whether its purely the buggy updater / server as even enter bios on mine takes about 5 attempts.

ok I updated mine to 2.3.1 today first try..
x3 clamp - cut one side ok, turn the key around to start the other side then the machine stopped very quickly for no reason.
now machine is broke.. any clamp/key it just starts spinning up then stops as it starts to move.

just tried downgrading to 2.2.9 it failed at the end.. but I tried to cut a key anyway and now its working again!!
I was starting to really like the machine but this updating is a F*CKING JOKE!!
Samic why is your company allowing its good reputation to be ruined by this update problem?? why not just do offline update like you use to do for the vvdi???
such a shame - the 2 cuts it done on the tibbe did look pretty good and the 2 pass also seemed to work pretty good :(

update. I tried the update again this morning and it worked first time under 12 minutes, and this time it seems to work.
Cut a tibbe key and provided you pay attention to putting the key in flat it now cuts a very good key (albeit a bit slow) a slight bit of deburring wheel needed but the cuts are bang on and works well in the lock.

Apart from several attempts to complete firmware update, this machine rocks.
Oh and it does require regular calibration to keep the cutters functioning flawlessly, which takes less than 2mins to do :D

Paid ?1700 including shipping by DHL for mine from ZLS tech. Don't forget if buying through Aliexpress the seller has to pay fees much like eBay so always going to be a bit more expensive on there. So probably not that far off the mark especially if the condor is being replaced by the condor mini.
More to the point does anyone have any experience of that company? I did look at there site earlier this week as they have 62piece lishi sets for $1350 but couldn't find confirmation as to weather or not the lishi picks they sell are genuine.

not tried a mini but large is pretty solid.. but probably have less chance of them dropping support with the mini !

Dear Sir
while working in condor machine the spindle changed the z axis adjustment and damage the vice as you see in the images
this happened while cutting the HU75 VW key , and every time we repeat it , it cuts the first track normally and in the second track , the cutting tool cuts the vice
would you help me solving this problem
and he replies
Dear friend
From your cutting photo,i know you have bad cutting with VW HU75(8cuts EXT).i want to know the version of your machie(2.2.9 or2.3.0)if its 2.3.0 then you can do this steps:
1. Take a photo of parameters(Factory Mode -> Show Parameters)
2. remove jaw X1/X2 from the base, then enter Factory Mode, and click on "Stepmotor Mode". The machine will test X,Y,Z axis itself. When is test 10 times, you can press "Cancel" to stop test, then take a photo and send to me
if you can attach the cutting video(about HU75)send to me,any problem keep in touch.
Best regards
Samic
i tried everything and sent this email:
Dear Samic :sorry for too late reply , i tried your solution , and also using many firmware versions also i used last update version , nothing changes , we tried to copy HU75 key , the machine reads it successfully , but starting cut faulty , first pass of the tool , it traces the cuts successfully but z axis didn't move into the key as it in normal cutting process,
in the second pass of the tool the z axis go to into the key and reach the vice and starts to cut the key and vice together ,
so the problem now is the z axis ,it takes a wrong feeds from the program ,we don't know why ,we opened the machine and didn't find any damage or tear belts ,so we need you help please , about 6 months the machine is not working .
so if any can help me to solve my problem

2nd November, 2015, 09:05 AM
Hey friend - I think your explanation is not correct - the problem is with the Y-axis(the cutter goes toooo deep). And why didn't you stop the machine when it started cutting the base of the clamp? I also notice the probe is not broken so maybe you set it higher than the cutter which could be the problem of your machine. Cutter and probe must be aligned at the same height through the settings menu.
P.S. Please loose this yellow color - your post is hard to read.

Not need to lube the machine,User should check the consumptions of the spindle drive belt and the stepper motor belt regularly.
If excessive wear and tear occur, please replace and ensure the key cutting accuracy.

This year the New Year holidays start on 7-th February and continue until 13-th. But traditionally most of the people in China take a week off before and some also after the official holidays. And the workers from many of the factories often take 4-5 weeks away to have the time to go to their homes and see relatives. It's a big event in China.
So "Manmart" instead of waiting for an answer just search through the thread - I'm sure you'll find the software you're looking for.
