I'm just in the middle of setting up a brand new f5s box and it won't recognize any of the USB pens tht I have,anybody any idea's why or how to fix this?

You might have to reformat it to fat 32, another problem could be you are not choosing the correct file please tell us what your trying to do in detail

When I put the USB in2 the port it won't even come up saying usb connected,it's blacked out.

Are you trying to install latest firmware if so only put the ABS file to usb,

If its blanked out so you can not choose it
either not formatted to fat 32 or try another usb stick (not seeing the stick)
or the only other reason usb port is knacked

Remove all files from pen drive and just drag the channel list on it.

The only file on my usb pens are the latest channel list,I tried 3 different 1's,how do I change the fat32 mate?

Plug it into a laptop or comp
goto the pen drive in my computer
right click & format choose fat32

I did read tht mate but was unsure wat to do an answered the second part of the question of wat are you trying to do in detail? Sorry mate.
