Hi,
I'm looking to ditch my Sly+ box for something a bit more feature rich and have read a lot about the Vu+ Duo. I think I've got the right idea but want to make sure before I go spending my money. If I understand correctly, the Duo will allow me to view one channel and record another, will allow me to stream over my local network and to Android devices and will allow a full EPG. Is this correct?
I currently have a full Sly subscription including 3D. Would I be able to use my current dish to view all of these channels on the Duo? Will the Duo read my card? How does it work with Sly's on-demand service, can it work?
Also, my Sly subscription is currently half price, this runs out in March. If I were so inclined, could I view Sly premium channels without a subscription on the Duo (I'm aware you are unable to tell me how on this forum but just seeking whether it's possible).
Last question, I had made my mind up on the Duo when I then read a little about the Gigablue boxes but not as much, can they do all of the above too? Are they better/cheaper?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Paul
