BMW 118 D PROBLEM READ TRICORE 1766

Hi all, I have a problem with BMW 118D ECU 0281016106 EDC17C06 original ecu does not work .. but before you can read a full backup with ktag, then I found another just pass the data and the car will not start, I have the original and try to synchronize avdi CAS + DDE but gives error "" can not sync "" because it does not work? donane if the ecu is the same HW and SW! backup and burn is correct
there is any area of micro TRICORE 1766 that can not be read?
good win read the full micro with another tool?

WElcome to tricore mate!!! they got OTP area that cannot be wrote. so swapping info from a aecu to another wont do. unles you can desolder mcu , flash and eeprom and solder them to the other ecu. (difficult )

you best shot is to read new ecu and do a immo off or rematch keys somehow

Buy a new processor, mount on used ecu, write all info from boken customers ecu in to "new" used ecu.
I did buy new mcu from china for 13$ each inc shiping to me.
Buy a BGA solder station it pay it selfs after 2-3 works.
do testing on broken ecu befor, it`s not so hard.
don`t do under heating so high, I have 110-130 degres and then do IR on top of the MCU ca 210 degres 2-3 min.

ISN also avdi DME reads it? .... if I read isn isn dme elo cas3 and put the same code in both modules then the motor starts running right? function that does the same ecu explorer not?

2) AVDI write ISN to CAS3
