Hello, I came a VW T5 1.9 TDI PD "tethered". After tests reach ECU smells
is the ... damage. Il unfold and surprise, it's fried. My question is, can only change me flash or anything else? Ecu's EDC 16U1, 038906016A, 0281 010 735. Thanks.

read single file by bdm and write to another ecu ;)

wow...

normally im very optimistic, but in this case - i think you should read eeprom and flash via bdm, and gonna write it to another edc16u1

well so far i can see on this foto ecu is fu...maybe no comunnication with ecu on bench then easy way is to immo of second hand ecu.

swap immo eeprom, or immo off new ecu. i dont think bdm will work..

before you try to read mcu clean ecu pcb in damaged area with isopropanol or something ...

Maybe you should be interested in why this ECU burned?
Maybe inverter barely coped with what it controls?
Maybe something else needs replace to new?
