you can work with this file .. I found the same solution using AETOOL ..
your solution is no cks ..
I think the problem the problem is to write the file using verification cks with WinOLS old version 1.7 and later by ECM2001 v6.3 use utility encodes siemens 2001>
I think that if the file is not written encoding siemens does not work ..
I hope that I have found the problem .. I'll just solve spaere the needed results

Did you make the checksum? i hear about this ecu need to make checksum when you write directly the chip.

the solution from tomleeuwen is the best way to do the job on these ecu's, desolder and solder the eeprom after read and write the immo off file.

can please someone have a look on my immo off from my mini please.
Ori EWS was defektiv and i changed to used one but i cant resync with inpa and now i will make immo of for test if the car will start and run.

my problem is, i have read the file of my original ecu with Galletto2 in boot and i think G2 read the file wrong.

i changed the File with immo of an after writeback to ECU, ecu dont communicate ! i write ori ecu file back and same problem !

I found a similar file in this tread and write it to my ecu and i can communicate via OBD with launch tester.
now i changed this file to immo of but car dont crank ! i will test the starter maybe its defect !

but please have a look on my immo of file if its OK !

If someone can completely disable the EWS checking that would be great. I have a EWS 3 in the car that works and took out the EWS 4.3 however the code and sync never match So I need to just make the ECU stop checking. Any help is appreciated. Also it's a MS5150 do I need to bootmode or can I use the soft switch in Tool32 switch_to_boot?

I readed the old (faulty) ecu in bootmode with MPPS V21 (grounded PIN 28 a few seconds on startup). The file of donor ecu is also in attachment.



Is it a full read now with ISN so i can write these file to the donor ecu and car will start? Anyone can check? Or we need do IMMO OFF?

I have read the other threads but the circuit board on my ECU is green and the other posts which show the boot pin are yellow circuit boards.
