how hard are they to flash and if not hard how does one flash such a box

think you will flash this like the 100 over usb thats what the usb port is on the back for

I think i know what a hdmi port looks like if you look be side the tuner you will see a usb port it has been said its so you can re flash the unit just like the dm100

yes correct 2tone.thats Small Type USB port..the same used on cameras and some phones.

has been said by the end of the year but might not be as long as that
