How opening ecu for Mercedes for sprinter

I have a problem on opening ecu for mercedes edc16, I heared if open ecu it will dead!
I want to read eeprom/flash by bdm?

hard job,must hot make,or or back side cut open

for back side open, do u have a dimension to cut????
At wich position of bdm connection on ecu????

I ve opened one and it s not like youa re dead...both sides are incrediblyy hard glued very difficult to open.
i managed to open the top side...but could get tothe back one to acces BDM pads...so i found that on top side it had some different BDM pads and bDM through there...
Still i dont recomend the job..unles u get a lot of money for it.

m8 this ecu open childerns play again sprinter and 642 ecu

I've often opened them and never broke one. If you're careful it'll be fine. Just heat it from the back and be gentle.
