Hi,
I have not been able to retrieve a PIN from this 2008 Canadian version City Golf.
Abritus read the file VDO cluster but could not produce a PIN.
Can you find it in the file, please?
I hope this version needs not to be precoded though.
Thanks

Hi, Any idea if this needs to be precoded key? Usually golfs after 2006/06 are but this City golf is a mexico made canadian ONLY creature.

No precode on any city golf/jettas. I have tried a few but unable to get pin code, dealer been able to program un precoded key no problem. I have since gotten a PIN from x-100 on an 08 city golf but it would not log in - was an accident car with no coded keys so lockout time could have been the problem, I didn't have much time to test that particular one out. I would like confirmation of a tool that can actually read the pincode on these oddball cars

I wonder what soft Immokill used, was specific to this oddball city golf file? I read the file with avdi commander.

it may be obvious but were there any lockout times in the dash?

Thanks Cheaper, could you explain what one byte in HEX from 30 to 01 will do to the situation? Clear lockouts and allow key programming, or?

Test and post scan from VCDS. You will see if it will help. If not, read the starting key transponder and post key ID, I will try to help you
