Installing two different versions of winols on the same system

Hello,

how can I install two different versions of winols (1.721 and 2.24) on the same pc? On the forum was something mentioned about the "path settings", but I had no luck with this hint.

If I change the settings for path in winols 1.721 and close it, and start afterwards winols 2.24 then are the settings for path the same as for 1.721 (they are also changed)
The same happens in the other direction: change path settings in 2.24 --> close 2.24 --> open 1.721 --> settings are the same as 2.24

Can you try the "path settings" under winols instalation folder?
For each version, of course.
Or may be you can install winols versions in differents partitions of the hard drive.

I have installed both versions on Virtual Win XP (VMware), and I want to make modifications with version 2.24 and Checksums with 1.721 (1.721 has more checksum-files). I don't want multiboot or a secound Vm-Image, this would need additionally HDD-space of about 20GB.

Under Miscellanous - Configuration - Paths.
You can see "Project-file" path and "Place for configuration files" path.

XP Little will need less ten 2GB
After instalation, reduce Virtual system HDD size

How do I resize Virtual HDD?
In vmware player it is not possible.

Path to configs: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Evc\WinOLS\


Version 2.24
Project-file path: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\System Rechner\Eigene Dateien\Evc\WinOLS\

My working versions of winols are out of "Documents and settings" folder.

For example:
1.721:
Instalation path: C:\Program Files\WinOLS 1.7\
Config path: C:\Program Files\WinOLS 1.7\
Projects path: C:\Program Files\WinOLS 1.7\projects\

2.24:
Instalation path: C:\Program Files\EVC\WinOLS\
Config path: C:\Program Files\EVC\WinOLS\
Projects path: C:\Program Files\EVC\WinOLS\\projects\
