Have to read immobox. No pin in dash. No way with opcom.

like drz said read immo box (around ignition barrel) tms chip read with xprog then zedbull should do it mate, someone else may know another way, but this is how its done mate

Hi all, pin 100% correct. Thanks. Another problem is the original car ecu was damaged, bought a 2nd hand ecu and having problems coding it in via op-com. Could anyone please tell me the procure. Astra 2001. Thanks

is the ECU reset from old car, if not you need first to reset it using old car pin, then it's easy to program it to car with op-com...
...if ECU is not reset and you don't know pin from old car post info for ECU to help you...

Cant carprog read pin fron delco ecu? HDRC Y17DT?
OPEL login reader from motor hybrid ECU. (http://www.codecard.lt/carprog/software/opel-login-reader-from-motor-hybrid-ecu-works-with-bosch-me1-5-5-siemens-simtec71-simtec71-1-delco-diesel-delco-multec-/prod_129.html)
Ive read afew pins from the simtec and Delco Multec HSFI ecus with carprog

I have a mate with carprog, will that get the pin out of ecu? If it does work what's the procedure with op-com? Thnks

why didn't you reset ECU with carprog?
...now with op-com go in engine ECU, find in special functions or programing 'reset ECU' option, reset it using his pin code, change VIN, then go to immobiliser -> special functions, enter cars security code, then go to program imobiliser function, choose Engine Controller installed, and OK, at the end you should see successfuly programed, check will stop blink and you can start car...
