ipad 3 questions

I have an ipad 3 with latest firmware, I want to get more out of it do I have to jail break it if so what more will it do

What firmware are you currently on.
If it's the latest as you say, iOS 7.0.6 then you cannot jailbreak it.
I'm hoping you're on 7.0.4
Goto settings/general/about and tell us the version number.
