Ktag no tokens ?

How do you know ? Did you had over 500 flashes with it ?

they say it s no limit....but actually it s arround 500 or 600. same for Ktag and Kess

There is KessV2 solution (Virgin LPC + JTag device + file)...but for K-Tag ? there is something like this ?

Does it really matter? How much are you charging for remaps $1? Increase it to 20$ then you can buy genuine, how far behind you think you will be by the time you do 500, so what's the next purchase, new interface complete with dedicated tuner or hold out for the specials that have a mobile workshop as a bonus? Ah wait that's no good then you'll start asking looking for a way to bypass the automatic feed and water system it comes with.......

so after around 40 flashes today i got the message from ktag that i have only 9 more times to program an ecu.

The k-tag was bought from ecutool and there is no text saying that it had tokkens or something else..

My questions are :

Has any one solved that problem and if yes in what way?

Has anyone installed the replacement chip for 1.89 version? Did it work? Where could i buy this chip? I found out some places but not sure if they are ok.

Is there any other solution that could save me from desoldering?
