View Full Version : A3 '00 Dash 8L0 920 950 A and replacement has "C" - is this ok ???

Original "A" type in p/number is VDO and can read with AVDI

but new replacement "C" type and doesn't read state much. Looks similar but can't read with my kit ???


Are these last letter important ???
Connectors are same.

there should be no problem to read ........ but you'll have trouble still "a" and "c" has diferent sw

Perhaps some of the functions will not work

Told "C" is updated part and none of my tools can extract the Pin code so i'll eeprom it

use programmer for motorola and read and write eeprom from hc912
I do not know another solution

Thanks for your help -its my 1st time on a 9S12. will xprog it. its mask is 3K91D i see it on list

jolly nice of them to have programming points.

i dont have xprog i hope that you will winish the job......its not secured
