Hy,
i have problem with golf 5 1.9tdi edc16u1 ecu. Some time ago car was at one tuner who repaired hot start, and he locked ecu for obd reading. i alredy tried with mpps which show me error, and galletto v54 which show me that ecu is locked and i should try in 10min.
Well i opened ecu and read it by bdm normaly(flash, micro, eeprom). Now is it safe to tune this bdm read and write it back by bdm, or i will have problems? And also is it possible how to remove this obd read protection from this bdm read?
I think that locked is eprom, because i cant even look for milleage with vcds in edc15-16 section
