Random bad micronas reads with J-tag multiprog

Hi guys,
I seem to randomly get bad reads with multiprog and smok J tag for micronas CDC3217G.
I am currently trying with another tool.

First read on the new tool worked perfectly along with the 24c32 read with smok prog to load the immo data in AVDI.
Second and third read with my tool after closing soft and disconnecting tool but not desoldering, both were bad.

Last board i tried both tools read bad then the new tool read good on third attempt.
My original tool worked perfectly previously.

Is there anything im missing here? Does the tool need de soldering and the resister replacing between reads?

I am at my wits end, have another dash here from a 2009 A3 ready to read so any suggestions on what to try next?
