DM800 channel updates

Hi all can someone tell me if the DM800 needs regular channel updates, I have bought a new one and am a complete novice

Hi, has it all ready got channel list installed ? or do u want to install a new channel list and what satellite ?

I have a channel list for UK sat installed but what I mean is does this channel list need an update like you do on the openbox when channel frequency changes.

The difference is you have a far more powerful and versatile receiver than an openbox so you can run something like Autobouquets : http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f216/autobouquets-e2-28-2e-plug-296869/

Which will literally update all your channels for you at the touch of a button, what ever image you are on check to see if its in the download section of your plugin menu if not install it from the thread i just quoted
