Eeprom swap rover 75 2.0 diesel bmw ecu

Hey guys

ive 1 ecu bosch 0 281 001 895 this is the original water damaged one
i also have a 2nd hand ecu from breakers with the same bosch number so my questions are

can I just swap the eeprom from the damaged ecu so the immobiliser will work to the ecu ?
if yes is the answer to the 1st question which eeprom is it I need to change as there are 3 or 4 in the ecu

As far as I know this can be done just by copying the main eeprom in the ECU 29f400, or swapping it.
