Mileage BMW E36

Hi mate.
I need change the mileage a BMW E36.
The dash VDO have two eprom (93c46). With Digipro3 I can read the real mileage only of external eprom. I did try change the internal eprom with other software but no show the real mileage.
Actual mileage: 421.278 Km
new mileage: 150.000 Km

If its software 24, remove cluster,split and refit bare board. Connect pins 2&3 on internal EEPROM (use scalpel), switch ign on, display will show "code"

Connect digital to diag socket,change miles.
Disconnect cluster,reconnect cluster.

Remove and rebuild, refit

When you say external eeprom, are you talking about the coding plug? I thought this needs to be changed too?

Method for sw6 depends on what tool you are using

I'm not certain what mine is, I haven't attempted yet but was just enquiring. If I would be to do it, I would be reading the EPROMs manually with a programmer.
