Changing km of M35808 is no problem, I have tried, and it works.

Where can I find the 9 pin description for original upa?
I see the 9 pin described in pdf you posted for upa-s. But I look in original upa pdf and no pin description.

If you are using adapter like it is in picture it's wrong. That adapter has to sit all the way at bottom of adapter clamp. And pin one is on top left. Refer to drawing on board.

My problem was solved............ Even no java or Netframework the software will run... I think the problem is just missing Dynamic Link Library need by UPA software

I just install the silabs driver because I need it for another software and then when I run the UPA software it works, I dont know what happening...

My PC not yet installed the framework and java until now but UPA software is working...

Except encryption is something more?
Because i’m sure that is exactly same. And i work only with upa and i’ve done hundred of them.

XCLKS pin no need to be touched
Leave it as it is
but
In some cases
You can connect the XCLKS pin
to the ground (vss)

better make a copy and restart the PC (Format)....

...your problem is a connection not an act ... you must find what is the point 1 those NEC are something different from what is customary
or ask for support to @penko will guide you better

Hello , for that MCU you need OLD xprog wich is working on win98 . I try different config on board off board change crystal etc without good result .The only way to read write that mcu is Xprog OLD on original pcb , no need to desolder anything , you can download project from official ewbsite and build by your own , they offer firmware and software and schematic.

I think it is the best device for that price and device coverage.
I have downloaded a lot of free scripts available in this forum and noticed that when all scripts are pasted in the "DeviceScript" folder took a lot of time the main application to run. Is there any solution for this?
My second question. Is there any option to search for a script or device in the main application? It is realy hard to find something in that device tree.

Since a bad Chinese copies of my UUPA-S PRO adapter appeared on Aliexpress in last few days ,


I just want to let you know how you can recognize my ORIGINAL adapter compared to the Chinese COPY.Other differences in the electronic sense I still could not determine because I do not have a copy in my hands, but given the other copies there are probably design mistakes


ALSO, since the price difference between the my ORIGINAL and the Chinese copy is only a few euros (2-3 euros depending on the store),
it is up to you to decide whether to buy the ORIGINAL or the Chinese copy.


Of course the delivery of the ORIGINAL adapter is much faster because it is shipped from Europe.

See on label what model is the BCM module and try to see if find in this forum if some one had in the past this type and can find some hepl informations or photos, or can made a new post with this problem after you give all informations from you module and car, year, ...

And you need to find and to see if ned to read MCU memory or extenal eeprom memory from pcb and see what is exactly.
You can use also Help manual contents form upa usb soft ! Go to open upa usb soft, go on help and go in contents and find help documentations for all connections eeprom memory device and MCU's

Hello to all. Paixfrawg upa does not have special pinouts for airbag ecu ( it have basic pinout of mcu, not board connections on pcb ). For reading it is ok, if you dont have script for target module you can not do it automatically, you will have to use 3rd party programs and then write again with programmer.

Oh okay I see. Thank you ..... yes I am aware it does not clear crash data. It’s for read/write only.... I was just curious if it had the pinouts already. I have ultraprog. Carprotool but not all activations ....Reworked Carprog but it isn’t working anymore so I’m looking for another programmer for mostly eeprom read and writing.

A brief Update for Beginners like me, after purchasing the UPA Device Programmer-S (HW) you will receive couple emails:
1. From the Support team providing you with Key information:
-User & PW (this are Assigned by Elrasoft and are Required for Activation & Updates. also important links and some FAQ instructions for Installation.
2. From the Sales team, validating the Address and whatnots.
-I was contacted to provide the full address since US, seems to split address in different way.
My issue was al about the first email being blocked by Outlook so I had to whitelist the support address and as my previous post I was growing frustrated with the situation which was beyond my fault and Elrasoft, but it got sorted out after a brief exchange of emails.

if you use an obd linck , however you have to create some way to communicate with upa via external usb . upa scripts do not support this . this person also just created online updates of their scripts .
at least if mr penco could answer the emails to explain these things or send some examples it would be great , because selling tools and easy support is a lot of shit . scrips however I lack some information to further advance my applications.

I want to say that selling upa is easy but the script examples are old things nothing has changed , and emails are never answered I think this is very bad . because we pay for original stuff and we could have much better examples of pascal scripts , everything is possible to create in upa but with these old things it's impossible.

Hi Sadly most of the videos for upa are also not in English. One of the videos explaining how to write UPA scripts is from a member on here. Fiazhnd. He explain how to write in Pascal. Most of the examples on here works for the clone not uuprog-s.

Would love to have a nice working example to play with.

I've been trying to read the EEE area of 9S12XEG128MAL (2M53J) but i get an unstable data.
I am using the latest version of my original UUPROG-S.
I can read all other areas of memory with no problem, but only the Emulated EE is not stable.
Each time i do verify it has hundreds of differences.
Is there something wrong with my UUPROG-S ?

I can read all other areas of memory with no problem, but only the Emulated EE is not stable.
Each time i do verify it has hundreds of differences.
Is there something wrong with my UUPROG-S ?
Please advise, because i tried everything:
slower oscilator
different voltages
internal/external supply

What else can i do ?
May be not use eee ( use d-flash) or corrupt partiton as FRM

It is unfortunately a one man show uuprog. Penko sells develops and sort out the issues.

There has been a lost of interest from people using it.

Also the chinese version have not been developed much further.

The software developed on upa 1.3 usually doesnt work on the uuprog. kind of frustrating to use

I do not have and never have had problems with upa
upa works very well on everything you have there to read
but also the programmer doesn't solder or know the read bridges by himself
maybe there will come a tool that does this by artificial intelligence

i purchased uusp4 in elrasoft my problem is i don't know where to download software and driver. i only see demo software in Elrasoft Download section. Do i Need to Activate this box because i see Video in YT that he is activating his UUSP4
and also i want to purchase mileage correction package Script in softdump but i don't know what to fill up. in UPA Version Order Script
