My blade just shows a flashing red light on the front no picture, have switched off from the mains and back still doesn't come on jsut the flashing red light.
Ive googled and read other forums and tried the factory reset by holding down the menu button after reboot but the menu screen doesn't show.
Im guessing it's a PSU problem ive had the box nearly 2 years and I bought it off ebay at the time, how do I get a new PSU if it is that and how much would it cost and are they easy to install??

Psu are easy to install on blade, few screws and a couple of cables, 10 minute job. Try Satsecure, they defo keep them

You may have to phone satsecure and tell them exactly what you want, or if your handy with a soldering iron you could probably replace some of the caps that may have gone or the other choice if you dont get any joy from satsecure try Technomate and tell them you want a PSU for a TM5402HD MK1 its identical

Call them, they should sort you out. Maxking should also have them, he's the starting point for blades when they come into uk

try rebooting box with no dish input connected to box
you could have a short in your lnb or cable

If its still Flashing it could be a mainboard issue, so send the PSU back and get a refund then perhaps think about selling this as spare or repairs

No idea you would have to send it in somewhere for someone to take a look at the main board as it could be something and nothing then again it could be something major and the person who has it has to get spare parts if they are available.
I think you have to ask yourself how much your willing to spend to get it fixed but i would imagine most repair shops will charge a fee for just taking a look and trying to diagnose the fault

If you tried psu, then it has to be main board which is easy to replace. I will find a price for that and let you know.
