how did u get to work no I/O error?

Some .cal files are the culprit for that. What you have to do is back up all the .cal files to a different location and remove all the .cal files from the each directories. Then copy few files at a time for each directory from the backup location where they supposed to go. Run etsmart exe file each time to see any IO errors presents. then cull each file you may think of causing IO errors. I find that .cal's with new algos are causing this IO error for most of the times. Keep all files out of directories that cause IO errors. Once you have sorted out all the working files without causing IO errors, then you work on the files that actually causing IO errors. What I have done is remove all the leading and trailing spaces on the file contents and remove unwanted comments that are in russian language. Sometimes not the file contents, the file name itself is the culprit. Rename the file to a different file name. Then copy each file to working directories as to see the IO error no more exists. From this way, I managed to run all .cal files without any problem.

Though it is time consuming task, but well worth it.

Some people says that you have to run on operating system that have Russian installed only. That is not true. I run this software in my windows 7 operating system with just an English.

Even if you have some time you can change .cal file contents to English. Change parameters with double quotes found in the .cal files. Now you have fully working English version of ETSmart Calcs.

Extract the files/Folder inside the "DASHBOARD" Folder of ETSmart software located at: ( C:\Program Files\ETSmartUSB\Calculators\Dashboard )
and try if will work..................

For those who having trouble with IO errors, download the following corrected Dashboard .cal files. remove existing .cal files in Dashboard folder and copy the files in the attachment to the Dashboard directory. All IO errors will be gone.

There is no decryption key in the attachment. I have tested while ago, it works fine. Your browser may be having some issues. Use firefox browser to see if the problem still exists. Firefox is the best browser that I found for me, but unsure for the others.

Go to installation directory, delete all existing .cal files in Dashboard directory. Then extract 'Dashboard.rar' in to Dashboard directory. Run the Etsmart, you will now see all the dashboard calculators.

Regarding about this kind of problem, it is easy to press ctrl+PrtSC at the same time on your keyboard and open MSPAint, click "Paste" MSPAint then save..
This is what we called "PrintScreen" so we can see about your error...

Our eyes is not in front of your computer to see your error........

it is free to share thr PrintScreen on this forum...

- fixing obvious mistakes and formatting issues in the scripts
- started to rename to better follow the structure that made the most sense to me,
- Rewrote 2 scripts to be accurate to single km and not chunks of 16 / 24km,

I've now confirmed that it is the same collection as i started with,

Betrescudan the contents of the file is intended to replace the existing calculators folder (not just overwrite)
The file is opened with an application called 7zip if that is what you mean?

OK there must be something different about your computer to mine,

I've tried my scripts on both a windows 7 (64bit) and win XP computer with no trouble, my language on both is set to English (Australian)
fair note, i do not use this software with the programmer, but for the calculating scripts only,

The folder called "scripts" actually refers to the files used to read / write to actual devices, you can copy-paste from any of the public packs that folder to yours, and you should then have access to the rest of the devices, "calculators" is where the eeprom modifying scripts are kept (.cal)
