2006 Ford Focus Ghia 1.6 Petrol
77k Miles
Fault code: P0016
Powertrain - Camshaft Position Slow Response
Changed both new camshaft sensors and changed engine oil and oil filter.
Engine management lights come on immediately, please can some tell me how to resolve this issue?

Thanks 76 mate so if I replace a new timing belt should cure the problem, is this the tested solution?

her is common problem mate check first if marks are right
cam should be horizontal both and need bolt for crank

Just finished checking timing marks found spot on mate, back to drawing board.
Any one with similar issue did they got sorted, please help?
Appreciate any advice.

Weird looking at PDF needs adding to disrobe (isca) manufactors *** updsCut aux belts, no key ways.
Weird. On topic, tried disconnecting battery?
Use a differant scan toool

Conditions for Clearing the MIL / DTC
The MIL will turn off after four consecutive ignition cycles in which the diagnostic runs without a fault.
A history DTC will clear after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles without a fault.
DTC can be cleared by using the scan tool.
Disconnecting the ECM battery feed for more than 10 seconds.

had something no matter what did was only 0340

have some time ago reno spase, with autocom cant delete faults from airbag did to many things and nothing, for some reason just in keys disconnected battery, after one hour connected and codes gone

Check your VCT solenoid isn't stuck, or the VCT mechanism on the camshaft binding due to tight arse owner not changing oil frequently

I think there is a mesh filter in the head that's partially blocked restricting the oil supply to the variable camshaft solenoid/pulleys.
