BMW E60 remote sync

Hi Guys

Anyone know how to re-sync the remote keys on an E60? Tried a few manual procedures (ingition on, then off, push button, release button, etc), none of them works. Tested the remotes, batteries are good, remotes transmit their signal. Tried with DIS, but it was a nightmare...messed around with it for nearly an hour, but only got as far as DIS telling me to replace everything. Is there any way to resync with DIS? Anyone ever did this before?

it's an E61 Touring.

Update: Checked all doors in live data, and everything is in order. Tried to find the antenna amplifier (as an experienced friend said it would be worth it to take a look at it), but customer needed the car so had to skip this for another time.
