hi everyone I have made this image for the dm800 clone its openpli based oe2.0 ssl84d I have designed it to work with sly 28.2e . I have added many things to my image like ondemand with bbc iplayer, itv, iradio, rte , 7 day epg ,cool tv guide, picons, 10 day weather report, tsmedia ,1channel, auotobuteqts and many more things there's also made a guide for beginners all you have to do is flash your box add your key set the region on auotobuteqts and then scan for new channels with auotobuteqts less than 1 min to do and that's you done :D

hi.

Its a great image however when trying to remove some plugins so I can make space for others (since at the moment it's full) it keeps saying no new plugins found. Before this when a new plugin was recently installed remove plugins loaded up the plugins installed. Now it keeps on saying no new plugins found and doesn't go to the uninstall screen. Just points me back to the download plugins screen. Any help?

Yes it's fine to setup just a few adjustment and your good to go.

Hi Cobra just a little issue when i update media portal i get the green screen and this also happens when i try and load extra plugins ? i have to re image the box and start agan from scratch to resolve the issue, my question with this image (installed with usb stick) can i load any more plug ins and updates with this image, i dont wont to try again as its a pain going through all that.

Apart from that image is good but i would like to update and load new plugins if possible.

PS:- Any news on your update ........

yes v.005 image will be released for Xmas as for the issues with installing plugins make sure the usb is well formatted first to fat32 not a quick format full one then plug it into your box and install the image from scrach this should help if not you would need to send me the crash files to I see what's going wrong.

it keeps changing to sdb5 and i have reformeatted in windowns pc to fat 32, Ive tried mini format tool???
Is there not a telnet command like what Cobra has in version 2 that can do it?

Well it's almost here v5 is looking good still bugs to iron out but apart from that we will be on time for release date the 23rd dec.Ok so what's new well you'll just have to wait lol joking so I have been working hard on a openvpn for those that don't know what this is ill explain why Iv put it in to work with tsmedia as you know the uk government has put a stop to us watching movies from 1channel and many more well not anymore I have added a free vpn when switched on this gives us a different IP addresses so it looks like where not in the uk lol and it works great so no more proxy web address well that's all your getting for now lol.

Hi the reason bbc iplayer is not working is because bbc changed the feeds for a new technology that's why its not working.

Ah yes,

Only 5mb space left.

I tried putting in a 32gb usb stick & using skin mover ipk to move some things across(this shows working but didnt make any difference seemingly to the required space).

Box reboots after about a 10 to 15 minute wait, tryed updating TS media to the latest version when it says needs to reboot dream box started to reboot after a long wait but then gets stuck on the loading screen, so I got to reinstall, nice-looking but very very buggy. Will probably go back to my old image.

Its running out of memory, I had the same probelm.

I used a modified blackhole image in between which was lighter/had no large graphic and was able to get tsmedia 8 running.

This is a better image of cobras imo & why I am asking/looking for ways to move / run packages from the usb.

Hi can you send me your crash log file you will find it on your HDD or usb this way I can see what the problem is use DCC to get it from your box.

hi try this workaround for tsmedia 1channel update tsmedia to 8.4 then startup 1channel then press the green button for settings change domain to true then change web address to http://primewire.unblocked.pw/ then just save and try it out see if it works.

hi unfortunately the dm800 just dose not have the cpu power to make tsmedia go any faster I would suggest that you make sure your swap file is on and running that will give it a wee boost of ram power but don't expect miricals hopes this helps you.

I have been tryng to install version 5 on my dm880 i cant get it to boot just a flashing light and booting flashing up every now and again i can ftp it and all the files seem to be there! spent a few days on this now
should version 5 boot on its own with out doing the usb update?

Had a couple of weeks trying, but finally managed to get this great image onto my OE (Genuine) Dreambox DM800HD, I also have 2 Clone DM800HD's & have had nothing else but Cobra 1432 Image on them for past few years, was fed up at the offerings from PLi as they no longer support DM800's (they term them as 'End Of Life nowadays)

EVERYTHING works on OE as it does on Clone, including TSmedia and IPTV (not really bothered about this nowadays due to Android & Kodi, but hey it works) the EPG also works exactly as it does on the Clones which was my biggest gripe! (now sorted) :)

My DM800HD PVR has a very old Cobra image from early 2014 (shows a Hulk image on bootup). It is the USB extended version and so has the USB permanently in the back. It also has a hard drive fitted. I just use the box for the Satellite channels and it does the job fine. Reading the system info, it has openpli 3.0, Kernal 2.6.18. The issue I have is that the TV Guide has not worked for the past year. The satellite I use Astra 28 east and I would normally download the Rytec UK sources.
Questions:
1.Will COBRA version v0.005 fix the TV Guide issue ?
2.Is COBRA v0.005 stable now - in some posts its mentioned that for some people, it no longer detected after upgrading (even though the hard drive detected on v0.004b ok).
3.Does the USB stick need to be removed when flashing the COBRA image?
4.Does the USB need to be re-flashed for v0.005 (do I need to do the steps to re-flash the USB stick in the instructions) - if its already flashed under the old version?
5.The COBRA 0.005 image is from 19th March 2015. Is this the latest image or is there a more recent COBRA image that I have missed?
6.A friend also has DM800HD PVR, when he starts it, the screen shows sim 201 team #84 - will this COBRA v0.005 image work on it? If not, can anybody recommend ?
