As long as it's not had the BMW security update you should be able to do cas3/3+ by obd no issues , clock is a bit awkward to remove but EPROM is on rear so no needles etc to remove

Abrites can read cas but cannot write, digiprog asked for ST63 (no OBD).

Will strip dash next week to do the CAS3.

It's cas 2 in BMW 7 series no cas 3. It won't work with digi through cas plug (ST63)

Yes, is CAS2, maybe ST63 can do but seems complicated removing fuses etc.

Might take some time, but will remove CAS and do with R270, I feel safer :)

If you have right eraser you dont need replace eprom.
The last 2 years i never change eprom.
but i have 3 different erazer
codiprog work 99%
tacho.de eraser work 95%
and from russian company work 100%
e65 you can do from solder points
but for me easy to remove the needles.
cas2 you can do with rosfar

Dash can be done very easy with X-prog. I have done it.

CAS unit is a little pain.A/C vents , Radio and CD , A?c unit has to come out , then CAS unit will come out on the side .
