Hi!
I bought a "new" dashboard because the old was crashed. I?d like to put the mileage that I had before in the new one.
This new shows about 191.000 km and I have to put 334.000.
First of all, I have to say that I don?t have the dump yet because I made a Programmer but it doesn?t work and I need to revise it.

The dashboard is a Visteon dec-2003 unit, with 93c56 eeprom, MID series.

My question is: I have been looking at tachosoft and it shows these datas:

334000km =
String #1 = B0
String #2 = 518

How could I introduce "518" in the original dump?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my English...

Desolder your old eeprom from old dash and soder on new dash.......and all will be ok(They hope that no EEPROM is damaged)

Thanks for your answer!
I didn?t know I could exchange the eeprom! But there is a problem... My old dashboard is a LOW series, and the new one is a MID series. Does the new dash support the old eeprom?
(The eeprom in the old dashboard was not damaged)

low and mid series(2002-2004)have some hardware(if they are the same then make changes)

Sorry, but I don?t understand what you mean. I think the only difference between LOW and MID series is that MID series supports the tyre pressure sensors and it shows when a door is open (one door individually).

open both dashboards and see if the same, whether the EEPROM is located at the same place, if everything is the same then you can change EEPROM

Once more, thanks for replying!
The eeprom is located at the same position in the two dashboards. :)
I?m going to exchange them on sunday afternoon, and I?ll tell you the result!

Yesterday I exchanged the eeprom and the MID series dashboard works properly except the display that shows the information when a door is open. :(
I think i?ll have to modify the mileage in the "new dash" eeprom.

At last I have the original dump. Could anyone help me to change the mileage?
Original: 191561 km
I need: 334800 km

The dash has a 93c56 EEPROM and it?s a 2003 visteon model (renault megane 2)

Thanks in advance!
