hi there
can anyone help me with this problem, the cars bsi is water damaged and burnt in some places, customer got second hand bsi , they both siemens type, I took off the processor and managed to get a read and pin, took off the second hand bsi processor and read it and got pin, I swopped the original processor to the second hand bsi, I can connect with my avdi and I changed the vin in the second hand bsi, when I go into ecu it says ,locking of ecu-ecu locked and immobiliser status-matched ecu and then synchronisation status- awaiting response from bsi
the immo light on dash is solid and car swings, ive never swopped a bsi before, can I do it with my avdi , what other steps must I do?
any help appreciated
kind regards

It's a Lucas ecu, what processor must I remove or can avdi do it?
Thanks for replying, is the ecu pin not the same as the old bsi pin? Or are they. Normaly different pins?

you must make new BSI virgin then put vin and pin and procram keys and make codings...

you need to split open the bsi and change the nec and also the 95160 then all will be fine

we swopped the nec processor as keygargoil said, don't like all those little legs on that nec , coded original key in with avdi and car started up, happy days:) I never tried coding key when I swopped only the 95160, wonder if that would of worked, that nec processor is not so lekker with bad eyes
