Ford galaxy 2001

Anyone know which cable to use with TU to do a ford galaxy 2001 obd-2? Also my pal said you need to set a code or something like that,anyone know about the code?

never ever heard of code for one of these saying that its years since done 1 ...should go obd autodetect with a6 cable if memory serves me

code imput was in early bmws many years ago with the cdh kit

just use VAG or VCD to read it that will work

you must follow the pdf
if vw is before 2000 you must use normal cabel obd and set to 0....... not use autodetect go normal menu vw -sharan - 2000
if the vw is after 2000 you must use vw 2000 cable and go direct and use autodetect

If your using diga consolt ( best tool for this job )
use vw auto detect. will work ok.
The code was for the early sharan/galaxy. with obd under ashtray.
The diga box would give you a code which you would write down . and you would need to set the code back in after you
had put the mileage in.
